This book is great for children who have family members in the military. The main character is sad that her father is going on deployment but her dad does things and uses the colors red, white, and blue to remind her of him.

Her daddy is in the United states Navy and is offten gone. When duty calls and he is forced to leave it is always hard for her, but what makes it a little easier for her is all the rituals that they do before he leaves.
