Angel: The End par Bill Willingham
This book weighs a thousand pounds. I don't recommend it as a book to stuff in your tote bag when you hit the beach. It includes volumes I've already rated, the last three installments in the Angel series. I wasn't very impressed with the storyline or scripts for these, and I rated them individually as 2 stars. The one-shots at the end, plus the artwork throughout, bumped the rating for this collection up to 3 stars. Those last several stories were worth the read.

The last one of these Angel comics that I really enjoyed was The Last Angel in Hell. I stuck with the to the end, hoping to be dazzled again, but that never really happened once Brian Lynch stopped writing the series.… (plus d'informations)

True Blood Volume 1: All Together Now par Alan Ball
Finally, a way to get more True Blood action during the off season! I was expecting the graphic novels to be as painful to read as the original novels, but the first volume was surprisingly enjoyable! This way we get the visuals (Eric = yum), but we leave out the annoying southern accents.

Angel Volume 3: The Wolf, The Ram, and The Heart HC par Mariah Huehner
Well, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. A lot of derivative future hopping ghost of future shit. No hint of upcoming spoilerworthy season 8 arc, either. The only interesting feature was Connor, surprisingly enough. Big bad or future god? Who knows, eh?

This one was just alright. I didn't really get the side story with Lafayette and Pam. It was all over the place.
