I really enjoyed this book! The illustrations are so sweet and engaging, and the story blends narrative with informational facts about winter. The story follows Lily, who is a little snowshoe hair in the season of fall. Lily hops through the forest encountering different animals as they prepare for winter. They each prepare in different ways and Lily is confused about what they mean, "winter is coming," she wonders what winter is and if she should do what the other animals do to get ready. The reader learns how many animals in the forest live through the harsh winter months and Lily learns at the end how she has been preparing for winter all along.… (plus d'informations)
