Thomson moved from Ontario, Canada as a teenager to the heat of Arizona where she graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in accounting. After working in the corporate world as an accountant, H.D. changed her focus to one of her passions-books. She owned and operated an online bookstore for several years and then started the company, Bella Media Management. The company specializes in web sites, video trailers, ebook conversion and promotional resources for authors and small businesses. When she is not heading her company, she is following her first love-writing.

100 authors give varied advice on writing, the craft, the content, networking, and hard truths. There are lots of advice to take in. The tips are extremely subjective, with some suggesting writing should be every day while others suggest writing when there is time, especially if raising a family. The bottom line, however, is making the time to write. It's never too late to start writing; some authors recommend getting at least a first draft done and looking into getting developmental editors (and not copy editors) so the book caters to both the author and the readers and to treat writing like a business to network with those who specialise in book covers, finance, and marketing. Other authors recommend writing what they love, particularly if they have the background knowledge, and focus on the complexity of characters to make them well-rounded people and to manage time when writing since time can go by very quickly. Ultimately, writing is hard work at the beginning and takes repetition to be accustomed to writing thousands of words at a time and understanding the marketing side.

This one of the most original, intense, and intriguing, paranormal romance stories that I've read so far this year. It turns out that nothing is as it seems. Avery is attacked by what is thought to be a serial killer but turns out to be something else (read it and find out, you know you want to). Twists and turn, suspense at every corner had me holding my breath. I loved every minute of this story. The characters all had that are of mystery about them. There was just something off. I felt like everyone was suspicious. The plot flowed well even with all the twists and turns. The tone was like watching a great psycho thriller from the 80's (my generation). I'd give it more than 10 stars if I could. It's that could and you should hit that one-click button. Book two of series.… (plus d'informations)
