This deck set is a good reference for architectural history, but not very usable in the real world. The cards have decent maps, but the text is tiny, and full indexing of the set is missing--you have to manually look through the full deck to find anything. Would have been better to do a classic spiral bound tour guide. If you use it at home and Map your tour, it would help, otherwise, a flop.

Despite the "true tales" title, this collection contains some wonderful essays about living abroad as a woman. Warning: do not read unless you've got your next adventure planned; may cause wanderlust.

A perfect little book to pack into your suitcase for a trip to Paris. The book outlines walks in the footsteps of famous Parisians such as Julia Child and Claude Monet. It gives you background of what Paris was like during their time there and then a walking tour with stops at many of the places that they went to. It will be a fun book to use when visiting Paris. Or if you can't get to Paris, its a fun book to look at and imagine being in Paris!

I HIGHLY reccomend this collection of memoirs to any woman who is living or planning to live accross the seas from where they grew up. These stories are all written by American women who moved to other countries. Their experiences are funny, sad, uplifting, and very encouraging. This book was a good friend in my first 6 months living in Australia.
