Marta Tandori

This is the fourth book in the Kate Stanton series, but it is the first one I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and do not feel that I missed anything not reading the previous ones.

The Crossing at Blaisdell Park was a huge box office hit and the sequel is now in production. Finn, the director, wrote the movie based on his ancestor's story. Diane, his wife is teaching acting classes where Karen is honing her craft. Kate, whose song from her years with the Paisley's, received aclaim after being used in The Crossing and she is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her husband, Paul, is the producer of both movies and her daughter Eve is trying to sell Finn and Diane's house. There are several murders, which John, Eve's boyfriend, is trying to solve and they all seem to tie into the movie and/or Diane in some way. Who is killing these people and why? Who else is in danger? Can past sins come back to haunt the rich and powerful in Hollywood? This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I will definitely keep my eyes out for the others in this series.

Trying to find closure for her Mothers murder she comes across a hidden bunker and what she finds is horrifying. Liz and her grandmother Kate decide they want to find the truth, whatever it may be. What they find out is not what they were expecting.

A thrilling page turning all night read. I really liked Liz and her grandmother. The story was great. Filled with suspense and secrets. I recommend to those who enjoy murder/thriller/drama stories.… (plus d'informations)

Turn A Blind Eye (A Florida Murder Mystery) by Marta Tandori

Jack and Beverly Donnelly, are dear friends of Libby Newton. When Beverly’s dementia leaves the couple homeless Libby, decides to help. Libby is the manager of a hotel in Florida, and decides to let the couple (secretly) stay in one of the rooms. Beverly sees something, but with her state of mind is not sure what happened. Beverly doesn't realize she is in danger, and she just witnessed a crime.

Then Rebecca Kendall, an attorney from Seattle shows up to investigate the murder of her nineteen year old daughter. Also Mia, Beverly's younger sister, comes to town to investigate a story regarding a sunken treasure.

Soon Beverly and Mia are working together to solve a mystery. People are ending up dead. Together the two are determined to find the truth. Can the dead girl, and the crime Beverly witnessed somehow be connected?

A fast paced murder/mystery. Set in Florida (a great location). There is suspense, drug dealers and family secrets. The story is original, the characters are likable an the plot is interesting and kept me guessing. I feel those who love a good who-done-it will enjoy Turn A Blind Eye.… (plus d'informations)
