The love scenes alone are worth reading. Add in mysterious things happening to the stallion and the cattle on the widows ranch, and this story kept me turning the pages.
This starts slow but finishes wonderfully. This is a good set up for the series about the Young boys. I liked Mesa and how Joes rescues her. I also liked their sparring. I did wonder how long it would take before they admitted they needed one another.

"Santa Wore Spurs" by four wonderful authors: Desiree Holt, Sable Hunter, Becky McGraw and Sandy Sullivan who gave us 'A Christmas Anthologies' which consisted of four contemporary novellas. I must say these were some erotic romantic reads all around the 'Christmas time' that will keep you turning the pages through this 'Christmas collections.' Each of the authors have their own different writing style and each compliment each other. Now, just stop and take a look at that book cover...Wow!

Yes it has some very steamy sex scenes
But!
The writing leaves a lot to be desired.
The story is just so so
Has a lot of boring parts.
