Omar Suleiman

There are zero references. Now, how can someone so well-read and educated, like Omar Suleiman, expect us to consider something without sources as credible, especially something that contains hadiths?

I know Omar Suleiman is a controversial figure, but I did not expect this kind of negligence in his book. Not to mention the paltry Instagram caption descriptions of some duas that signify nothing but lazy writing. I have nothing good to say about a book of this kind until I verify how much of it is actually authentic and from what I have searched so far, the results are distressing.

The number of five-star reviews this book has and that none of those people found it problematic for a book containing hadiths and sayings of the companions to mention no references confirms my suspicion that the Islamic section of Goodreads is overrun by fans who, with their blind devotion, give “writers” like him the confidence to publish doubtful content.
