A truly fascinating book about an undeservedly obscure piece of history: the fact that, for two to three hundred years, human corpses were an important source of medicine in Europe. Sugg writes both well and cleverly, which is a rarity in a book as academic as this one, and I enjoyed every single page. Well, most pages. Some of them were pretty disgusting.
