This is a great little book for preachers, especially of the Lutheran tradition. Dr. Stuempfle was a well regarded professor of homiletics and this book, an expansion of his doctoral work is great guide for those entering into proclamation and ministry. It gives a good Lutheran understanding of law and gospel and how that can play out in the pulpit.
