Politics without Vision: Thinking without a… par Tracy B. Strong

Strong examines seven thinkers -- Nietzsche, Weber, Lenin, Schmitt, Heidegger, and Arendt -- who have sought to navigate the crisis of modernity in the absence of the foundational visions that are no longer available to us. His aim is to find, even in the most undemocratic of them, those elements that can further democracy. This is a challenging and worthwhile book.
