Angela Thirkell Society - Courte biographie
- Margot was born in Madrid of British parents. She became an actress, and married an entomologist, John Strickland. She accompanied him on his expeditions to the West African bush. Later they settled in Hertfordshire, where she worked as a journalist and writer of several books, plays and short stories; later again to Suffolk. Widowed, she moved to Norfolk, where she died in 2008 after a fall at her home.
