Louise Hawley Stone (1904–1997)

This book is an expansion of the author's Masters thesis, which she completed in the Department of East Asiatic Studies, University of Toronto.

The aim of this study is to contribute to the discussion of the development of the chair in the history of Chinese furniture, using archaeological and literary evidence, some of which resides in the collection of the Royal Ontario Museum of Archaeology.
