The book opens with a description of the people involved and the events preceeding the skirmish. The overall story revolves around highlighting the importance of the skirmish in elevating Lafayette from an honorary rank to an actual field commander.
If you are an avid fan of the American Revolution, this book is a great read to understand this small portion of the Philadelphia Campaign. It is well written and like any Westholme Publishing book, it is thoroughly researched.… (plus d'informations)
