Quickie Review (May Contain Spoilers)

Capturing Tess was a really well done FF romance. You rarely see FF romances written like this and I am really enjoying this writing style that Anna Stone implements within her stories. They have such a edgier theme to them and I literally can't get enough of her books.

Capturing Tess is a kidnapping story but to protect her type of setup. There is some fun dynamics to the plot that is involved and many secrets that come into play. These two are a great dynamic and I liked that they had such different strengths that complimented each other so well. There is some fun suspense aspects that mixes just right into the story and is slowly revealed and not packed in all at once. So even if you aren't a big fan of suspense books, you will still enjoy this as it doesn't take away from the actual romance that is written here. If you love dark romance or billionaire romance dynamics and want to see how it would work for a FF pairing, definitely check it out.… (plus d'informations)

I've GOT to find better naughty novels to read. I'm so frustrated by Stones books and yet I continue to read them because they're what I have access to. Look this could have had the heat but it just fell short. The sex scenes are just one way and don't really pack the heat promised. I also don't particularly like that theres no check in and communication except for what they text, there wasn't any real conversation face to face. I know this is meant to be spicy, and sometimes the naughty shit breaks all the rules. But I like my kink healthy and with full communication... and this wasn't it, once again. >.>… (plus d'informations)

Apparently I've read this before and wasn't entirely sure, it was just that luke warm that nothing really stood out from the run of the mill genre.... Overall a short but okay story, it was lacking in plot... and the porn so this wouldn't even count as a PWP for me. The whole premise of the "plot" was barely believable too, I also didn't really apreciate the fact that most of the sex scenes felt really short and glazed over, with more than a few fade to black scenes. Definitely not my favorite of Anna Stone's work... but definitely very similar to the other ones.… (plus d'informations)

oh boy was this a stinker... The plot was lacking and half assed. You knew what was happening WAY before it happened even though it feels like it was just stapled in at the end. The sex and passion is lacking and yet again, and its with too much emphasis on Lillian doing the taking and wanting and very little interactions from Emma. Pillow princess all the way? Dont get me wrong, I can appreciate a pillow... but its a too familar trope in Stone's books and its in nearly even steamy scene. It also doesn't help that Emma suddently decides she's lesbian and does almost no introspection or coming to terms with it. Not really good representation here. Honestly this felt like a nearly identical story to "Girlfriend Arrangement" with only some minor detailed changed. So frustrating.… (plus d'informations)
