Lieselotte hat sich was eingefangen. Da die Hausmittel der Bäuerin nicht helfen, muss der Tierarzt kommen. Der verordnet Ruhe und Hustensaft. Die Bäuerin sorgt dafür, dass Lieselotte versorgt und unterhalten wird. Da ist es kein Wunder, dass Lieselotte ihre Krankheit auch ein wenig genießt und das Umsorgt werden gerne noch ein wenig ausdehnt als es schon besser geht.
Die Kinder wissen wie es ist, wenn man krank ist. Auch sie möchten dann beschäftigt werden und freuen sich, dass man ihnen so viel Aufmerksamkeit schenkt. Daher können sie sehr gut mit Lieselotte fühlen.
Die Geschichte ist toll erzählt und mit schönen Zeichnungen ergänzt, die zum Entdecken von vielen Details anregen.
