Cute, sappy YA reminder of the time traveler's wife. Plus it's set in Madison. What's not to like?

Snowed Over by Angie Stanton
Starts with other works by the author and a dedication page.
Katie hates when another does not keep their word. She's waiting for a ride up north from the university student that she's yet to meet.
Alex does show up and helps her with her things as they travel north for each of them to visit with family during the Christmas holidays. Things don't go according to plan and the snow has a major part in that.
They try to avoid a deer and the truck runs off the road into the river and they are able to get out.. love how he takes charge and leads them to a cabin. There are things there to keep them alive. They understand after talking a lot why each is dreading the holidays....
Like the end and how he had remembered something she had said that make a difference. They each had opened up about their family problems. Like seeing the side of her family and the troubles they have. It was not their typical holiday meal to say the least.
Enjoyed this story and how they make the best of things, with being stranded. So resourceful.
Note from the author and her works, about the author are included at the end along with an excerpt from another book.
I received this review copy from BookFunnel via the author and this is my honest opinion.

No logro conectar con Becca, se me hace demasiado molesta. Ni siquiera tengo esas ganas perversas de leer un libro solo para después hablar mal. No.

WOW, WHAT AN AWESOME BOOK THAT BLEW MY MIND!! I loved Piper Winslow but I did not her controlling her daughter's every move, but understood when the police came to arrest her, then it clicked. Piper was torn up and did not believe that her mom stole as a newborn and she thought it was a mistake as her mom was the only one that she had ever known. I can not phantom the shock and anger that Piper experienced when her was all a lie. First, she lost her dad when he and her mom yelled at each other so much until he stormed out and crashed his car. Losing her dad and now the only brother that she had only know now he was not her brother? Her birthparents were flying in from Seattle the next day but she did not want to go with them. Seventeen years of lies and she did not know WHO she was, but she knew that she had to run and hide If only she was eighteen then she could stay in the home she grew up in and wait for her brother's return in eleven days, instead their search for her was relentless and all she wanted was to drive East and put miles between her home stake as fast as she could. Unfortunately, her birth parents took out a huge reward on her whereabouts… (plus d'informations)
