And so it ends. For the last 3 years I have been living off the Halloween high of the Teen Killers Club books. Quick recap. There is a test to determine how possible it is to become a serial killer. Kids who get an A on this test are sent to camp to become assassins for the government. Book 1 is about the test and about Camp. Our main character Signal Deere swears she did not kill her best friend and that she is no killer. Erik is the bad boy. He is Class A all the way. Book 2 Erik and Signal run away from camp and fall in love. Signal also learns about Erik’s backstory, where the test came from, and why he is a Class A. Read the books, their great I promise. I loved books 1 and 2,

Now for book 3. This is the cumulation of the story. Signal is back with her campmates. They are trying to take down camp, get rid of the test, and get everyone free. Yeahhhh. Erik is still on the run, because his brother wants him dead. The entire group have become celebrities. There are pro killers club groups and anti-killers club groups. It is time to end things. This book is my least favorite. Some much revolves around drama. Not horror drama, girl/boy drama. Teen drama. Drama that has been absent from the rest of the books. While I hate using the word this book would be considered “clean”. There is extensive talk of marriage that services a purpose other then to allow for sex. But the marriage is just more drama that I could not wait to be over. This book does wrap up nicely. I thought the very end was too rushed, but it does set up for a sequel series. I don’t think a direct sequel (I could be wrong), but a new series about after. I hope not. I like it where it is. I love this series, and while this is a nice wrap up, it is the worse book of the series.… (plus d'informations)

I have been on a roller coaster ride with this series. What a ride it has been. Signal has been through a lot. She is not the same person as she was in book one. She is a fighter. Although, she is not alone as she has Erik and the Class A killers.

They will all have to give it everything they have for this final battle. Having been with Signal and Erik from the beginning, I was on board with their budding romance. I was cheering for them.

While I did like this book, at times it did feel a bit disjointed. Sometimes it felt like things were moving too fast and it was hard for me to focus on it all at once. I did listen to the audio version of this book and to be honest, this is the way to enjoy this series.… (plus d'informations)

What an exhilarating ride! A training camp for teen killers? I mean what's not to be excited about when Signal, an innocent teenager, is dropped in with these Class A ultimate murderers. Day one task: Dismember and dispose of a life-like dummy. I loved the killers themselves too, particularly 'Nobody'. You kind of get a bit charmed by them and their sassy teen vibe, right up until they prove just why they have been deemed Class A, and then you are like holy smokes Batman, they are stone cold killers! Book 2 picks up within hours of book one ending. Signal and Erik are on the run trying to not only live life but prove that signal is not a killer. Prove that the Wylie Stanton is flawed and shouldn’t be used against kids and teens, or even adults, to prove who does or does not have the ability to kill people. This book does have the standard teen love tropes, but set in a serial killer’s world put a very different spin on things. The story also gets more complicated. We finally get information about why Erik’s kill number is so high, who he really is, and how his family plays into not only the camp, but the Wylie Stanton itself. This book is a family drama, and this is one time where I can say, the second book is honestly better than the first. It has a Manchurian candidate vibe towards the middle, that in the end just makes the story more in-depth and more edge of your seat. Honestly, the worst part about this book is that it doesn’t end. You have a cliffhanger and the fact that I’m going to have to wait a year for a third book is killer. Book 3 needs to get here sooner! I must know that there was a happily ever after somewhere along here. I have to know that our society can and will do better. I love this book, I tell everybody they have to read at least the first book and I’m going to tell them they have to read the first book so they can read the second book! So check out the series add it to your TBR, and buy the book so the author can write the third one.… (plus d'informations)
