This is a great resource! I have been reading money-saving advice and coupon information for over 25 years now. I still found things in this book that helped me rethink what I was doing to live a better and healthier life.

I am not religious. This book was full of bible quotes and related everything back to the Bible and Jesus. Thanks, but no.

"Do it Scared" by Ruth Soukup summarizes her extensive research and theories on how our fears are holding us back from accomplishing our highest goals. Using a fun and enlightening online quiz, the reader learns their greatest fear archetypes and then how to overcome and work around them. I learned that I was a procrastinator and perfectionist which means I have a hard time getting started until things are "just so." This is really accurate - I'm great at researching and planning but terrible at getting going. Focusing on taking a step, even if conditions aren't exactly right, helps me move forward. While other archetypes are also present (outcast - fear of being rejected, people pleaser - wanting to make others like me or doing what they want, not what I want), the procrastinator really fits me. The steps in the book and on Ruth's website are helping me move forward and actually take action (instead of just thinking about it)!… (plus d'informations)

I honestly don't know
and I honestly have no idea whatsoever
where the heck and how the heck
to start writing this
book-review.

One of the things I that can say
and one of the things that I can
share with you is that this book is definitely
not a book aimed at the male part
of the world's population,
but more like a book that's aimed
at the female part of the world's population.

Nonetheless or nevertheless,
which ever grammar form is correct,
even the male part of the world's population
can learn and take something valuable
and something worthy from it.

What that is for other men,
I don't really know and I don't really
have the slightest clue,
for we are all wired differently,

but for me, what I truly like about this book
is that it deals with fear we knowingly
or unknowingly have in our lives,
and that it was written by a loving mother,
a devoted wife, a passionate blogger,
a podcaster, a successful business woman,
and this truly intelligent soul who is not afraid
to acknowledge all of her imperfections
and all of her other faults she has.

If anything, her acknowledgment of all
of her imperfections and all of her faults
made this book feel truly genuine
and not too sugar-coated,
and thus a truly interesting read.

And all of her advice within this book
is very rich with wisdom and very rich
with knowledge, and with many many years
of personal and professional experience.

The author, who also has her own podcast
somewhere out there on the world wide web,
has truly made an impression on me
with her life story, for it shows that
it's never too late to put yourself out there,
no matter what age, no matter what color,
and no matter what gender you are.

And especially that every fear you may
knowingly or unknowingly have in your life
can be beaten and you can achieve great things
in your personal and professional life,
for as long as you stick by your plans,
your goals, and are immensely proud of all
of your work and all of your
remarkable
achievements.
