Typical late '70s Batsford pictorial history. Mostly on the larger non-narrowboat inland craft, which is a less common subject and very welcome. Some of the editing could have been better, as many terms ('swim-headed') are used for several chapters before they're explained.

A useful book that assembles scuba diving information, ship plans, and short histories of the vessels concerned. there are also some photographs and an index. A short read, but interesting.
