The Unraveling: High Hopes and Missed Opportunities… par Emma Sky

This is an almost incredible story of a female British journalist, Emma Sky, who becomes an aide and confidant of the most senior US Military officials in Iraq & Afghanistan in first decade of the 21st century. She served General Odierno for several years, and he just retired from his post as Army Chief of Staff in August, 2015.
I chose this book because I like to get an insider's view of events. And that's what I got. Time well spent.

I think this memoir strikes the right angle at showing high level politics from a personal point of view, or in other words as a collection of personal relationships.
