The book is missing "A very short introduction to" from its title. There's not a lot about economic theory here, it's mostly biographical summaries of well known economists. Contains attempts at humour, repetitions, repetitions and pretentious suggestions of "music to listen to" while reading a chapter.

Brimming with bullshit. A compilation of paragraph sized articles, opinionated, repetitive and inch-deep. On a more personal note, using the term do-gooder as a pejorative makes you look like some cartoon villain (and an asshole).
