Let Dogs Be Dogs: Understanding Canine Nature and… par Monks of New Skete

Really good book on dogs. they contest that as pack leader our job is to control the resources and keep everyone happy. Food, space, play, exercise. The expectation should always be calmness and compliance. Reward good behavior only. Be calm and assertive. This lets the dog know with clarity, who the boss is, and they appreciate that clarity.
