Shiro Shirahata

For me Shirahata is the best modern mountain photographer. One reason is that he uses a 4x5 field camera. Tags include "coffee table book", which it may be, but I don't know any other way to see superb photos, which would best be seen exhibited as prints in a museum, of the Karakoram and associated ranges.
