Kaya Shows the Way (American Girl) par Janet Shaw
Kaya is reunited with Speaking Rain, and they have some things to talk about.
Kaya admires brave Swan Circling, but worries she'll never measure up.
Kaya befriends a stray dog, but can she keep it? Story set in 1764.
This is a combination volume of Kaya's first three books, "Meet Kaya", "Kaya's Escape", and "Kaya's Hero" with the illustrations omitted and the Looking Back sections curtailed into a short two page blurb called "Inside Kaya's World". The idea with the BeForever relaunch of the books was to aim for a slightly higher readership. Quite frankly I prefer the individual volumes. Not only do you lose the illustrations (which did a wonderful job of giving you an idea of what Kaya's family and people looked like) but you also lose the wealth of information about the Nimíipuu and their struggle.… (plus d'informations)
