This book should have been subtitled "selected papers" to emphasize that it's not a unified work. I liked the three general papers on the methodology of political science, which were about 100 pages in total. I didn't like the 50 pages the author spent on rebutting Richard Posner, whom I've never heard of, or the 50 pages where he responded to comments on his earlier book, which I had not read. The scattered arguments in this book are typical for a book with selected papers. Professionals may like it but I certainly don't recommend this book to general readers.… (plus d'informations)
