* I got this book for review from the publisher*
I really liked thing book. It was a the prefect summer read. I really enjoyed the lead character and also the plot of this story. It was very cute but also addressed more difficult issues like money issues and it was just a fun read. I felt like I really became invested in the two leads but just did not feel that connected the the other characters. I always a sucker for "save the...." by the end of the summer and this book made me smile. I would def. read more by this author in the future as well!

Some readers may well feel frustrated and annoyed with Julia's frequent emotional swings and lack of trust. Having worked with teens who suffered from loss and anxiety in the past, I found hers to be pretty believable. Loving the place where you grew up and having to face the very real possibility that you may lose it through no fault of your own, coupled with betrayal by a father, then a boyfriend, is a heavy load to carry. Julia does it, albeit ungracefully at times, but in the end that adds to the story which I found to be pretty satisfying.… (plus d'informations)
