"Anna Carries Water" is a story about a young girl who dreams of being able to carry water in a bucket on her head. Her family comes from a village where they don't have access to tap water. Summary:
Annas job everyday was to go to fetch water from the spring. All her older brothers and sisters use a pail and carry the water on her head. She gets discouraged when she can not be like all the other kids and carry water on her head. She trys over and over and finally gets it.

Personal Experience:
I realate with her because when I want to do something even if i cant I keep trying untill I can get it.

Classroom Extension:
1. I would get a pale and put something with a little weight in it and have the students try to carry the pale on their heads.
2. Have the students talk about something that the wish that they could learn how to do and set a goal to learn to do it.
