I adore this book. The cover is a little misleading because at it's core, it's really more about friendships than the romance. Love all the literary references and opinions, and the cast of characters is so much fun. Bo and Jasper (those scapegraces) were favs, and the Scoundrel club pleasantly surprised me.

Did not grab my attention, I DNFed at 50% and couldn’t really tell ya about the book. It was just boring to me.

A fun book with intelligent humour and wonderful literary references. Readers will either find Mary Porter-Malcom insufferable or they will find her quirky and charming. I fall into the latter group of Readers. I loved the witty banter between many of the different characters. It reminded me a little bit of the Gilmour Girls in that respect. It's predictable and fluffy and safe. It has made me want to reread some of my favourite classics. An enjoyable read.

This was a perfect pairing with our recent beach vacation and I found it to be excellent escapist, light-hearted rom-com. The characters are fun and relatable, and the romance is sweet (and not too steamy for a public setting!). The plot wasn't earth-shatteringly unique but it was an enjoyable read that left me with the warm fuzzies. I do hope the author comes up with a Jean storyline because I can only imagine the antics.… (plus d'informations)
