I liked Alli Gator gets a bump on his nose. I think it teaches a valuable lesson of how not to boast. This book is based on a Southeastern Indian lesson. Through the context of animals, it teaches a lesson on human social behavior. I liked this book because of the way it tells the lesson. It does not outright say what was wrong with Alli Gators behavior but tells of the consequences of his actions.

The illustrations complement the writing very well, they show what Alli Gator does in the story. I found it interesting that there is a vocabulary list in the back of the book. As well as a short biography of the author.… (plus d'informations)
