Caught Between a Lie and True Love focuses on two people who are trying to make a fresh start. Brody and Paige are each working on making better decisions for the sake of those they love. The problem? Everything they are trying to distance themselves from is pulling them right back in. Sheila Seabrook did a good job of humanizing the main characters by showing emotional turmoil and growth throughout the story. My one irritant is that the story move along somewhat slow. I received a copy of this novel in exchange for and honest review.

Sheila Seabrook is a great find. Her ability to combine amusing characters with heartwarming stories and eccentric personalities is a delightful experience. Caught Between an Oops and A Hard Body is a perfect example of Ms. Seabrook's talent. Characters who seem to have it all together is their professional lives are running scared when confronted by emotionally entanglements. A feel good read that puts a smile in the heart.
So this is how a heart breaks. A Time to be Tender is a chance to start over for two brokenhearted people. Through unspeakable tragedies and broken spirits, Ms. Seabrook shows that despite the painful heartaches and overwhelming losses, life can be a blessed experience. Mike and Jane bring hope and wisdom to a highly emotional windstorm. Tissues are a must.

I think the problem is the secret from the Hero and the heroine, as they both are hiding something, is it all comes out too soon near the end. This means forgiveness and reconciliation with the truth and each other is too fast and unrealistic.
They accept things after a few heated words and an apology. The depth of the lies and the result is almost 18 years lost for everyone, that's a lot of time to get over so quickly.… (plus d'informations)
