What can I say about Daddy’s Curious Boy by A.W. Scott? Well, the idea was good - Some of the writing was good. My biggest issue is that the ‘world’ the author built on was our contemporary world, but the details did not fit. I am not talking about geography or that type of detail. I am talking about events. Yep - granny dumped 10 million for a date for grandson and first date the auctioned stud asks if he can be Daddy - with nothing more than a kiss. Then they don’t see each other for 2 days and said stud buys the boy a building! Um - what world is this? I can hear someone chiming in “It could happen!” Yep and so could purple unicorns. The writing had no real flow or connection between events, the characters lacked depth, and – well - I will just leave it at that. It is a KU, so you read and decide.
