Moths and stinkbugs reduce the rice and fruit harvest in China. Man made pesticides were used to kill the crop damaging insects, but that also killed the helpful insects. Scientist Pu Zhelong taught farmers how beneficial insects could control the pests, resulting in a larger harvest without the man made pesticides.
