With a striking and beautifully detailed world, the author has created a story that engages and entices the reader with romance, luxe details, sand, storms and a mystery as you travel this never-easy path of the book. With a feel of place similar to Lawrence of Arabia, Tahj and Bashea fight against their captors and enemies, cultural norms and their feelings for one another as their destinies are revealed and ultimately intertwined.

With beautifully described worlds, well defined characters and several twists, the plot is well paced and engaging, with enough danger, emotion and mystery to make you need to know what happens next. The romance is sweet and certainly well defined, without being in your face, made even more heart-warming as you feel the characters fighting their attraction as they come to rely and accept it. A wonderful first novel from a new author.
