oop, and this is why you should check the flap before checking things out- this was an impulse grab from the picture books display, so I didn't realize this was about grief, from before the loss of a parent followed by afterward. A lovely, contemplative book for that intent.

This book is about a kid who losses his mother and is trying to deal with the loss. This book is a good book for those who have lost someone.

This is a story about a child who has a mother that died. In the story the child remembers the good times she had with her mom and knows that she will get through this loss. This is a great story for a child to read if they lose a parent, this way they can be left with a sense of hope and a way to deal with the loss.
