Again Alabama by Susan Sands
Story starts out with Cammie and she is returning to help take care of her elderly mother. She owns Evangeline Events where people go for special events. Cammie me not only takes care of her but the meals that were to be catered by someone else in town. Story is also following Gray who lives next door with his father and his daughter. They had a history together but there are a lot of missing pieces a lot of secrets and a lot of mysteries. It's really interesting to see how this whole story evolves. what I really love about it is it is about different age groups from a fourth grade child to around 80-year-old and everything in between. All the problems that arise and how they deal with them and how solutions are made. Great read for the story, very descriptive. Left me with warm feelings towards them all. Excerpt for the next in series is included. There is another book in a different series that has an excerpt also at the end.… (plus d'informations)

I really enjoyed this southern romance. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given this a 4.5* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. Emma and her family pretty much says it like it is. Emma does try to filter it a bit, in her southern way. I learned a long time ago, that when a southern person says "Bless his little heart." it is not a compliment. I could almost hear the southern swing to their words. There is a lot of action, and of course, a bad guy in this mix. There is even a few feels and a need for a hanky before you are done. A nice job.… (plus d'informations)

The Island of Summer Sunsets was a wonderful book!

This was my first read by Susan Sands, she earned herself a new fan!!

I found this book to be enchanting, the characters are so well written and rounded.
Even the secondary characters are simply amazing.
The chemistry between Ryan and Janie is instant and even though this is a clean slow burn romance I couldn't help but love how connected they were.
I found Janie charming, amusing, fiery, and overall a great female protagonist.
Her love for the Island and the wildlife was truly inspiring.
Ryan, is handsome, sweet and a wonderful father to his teenage daughter.
Sibley, Ryan's 16 year old daughter.... I couldn't help but truly enjoy her character.
I don't know why. But she made the story that much more real for me.
This story is told through the eyes of both Janie and Ryan. I enjoyed getting a look inside what each other was thinking and feeling.
Sands’ writing flows smoothly, having you fall in love with the small town of Fripp and the well written characters she has created.
In my opinion, Susan Sands’ mastery while creating such adorable storyline is superb.

Be prepared that once you start reading this great story, you will not be able to stop until the very end and it will be worth it!
