This book is kind of a mess. The author goes for the kitchen sink approach, throwing in everything that seems relevant without making critical distinctions. Despite that, there are enough provocative ideas and obscure facts to make the book worth holding onto -- it just can't be considered a reliable source.

I'd recommend it for anyone interested in comparative religion, Christian history, and both reconstructive and mystical paganism. This book suggests that the Bible can be a priceless resource for anyone interested in ritual and esoteric astrology, and anyone looking to research pre-Christian religions.… (plus d'informations)

Not a scholarly discussion. For those who like to see a splash of uncritical mirror reflections between gospel characters and pagan gods and heroes, even modern Dr Spock.

Buddhism, Christianism and Hinduism are variations of the ancient Sun-God religion, with Buddha, Jesus and Krishna as Sun heroes. The author explores the common mythology of these religions.
