Michael Ryan received his Masters of Engineering Science and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales. Mr. Ryan is a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales in Australia. 050 Michael Ryan is the author of three poetry collections, including "In Winter" afficher plus & "God Hunger," & of the memoir "Secret Life." His work has been honored by the Lenore Marshall Prize, a Whiting Writers Award, the Yales Series of Younger Poets Award, & a Guggenheim Fellowship, among others. The stories told in these poems is so compelling, it is easy to overlook the formal structures of the poems themselves. Masterful.
About the agonizing process of in vitro fertilization and how it finally worked. He's a good writer.
Ryan was molested by a neighbor for a year from the age of 5. The experience affetcs his life.
