This book is good if you want refresh your memory on the calculus you learn in High school or undergraduate. I wouldn't recommend this book as a teacher for calculus. It is best for you to take a real class in my opinion.

I used this book to refresh my understanding of derrivatives and calculus one in general. I'm not sure how effective it would be at teaching you the subject from scratch, but it is an excellent resource if you forgot a few things.
