Michigan Council for the Humanities, scholar of Humanities Resource Center, 1986-98; Humanities Council of West Central Michigan, vice president, 1989-90; workshop presenter. Mecosta County Council for the Humanities, charter member, president, 1985-88; Mecosta County Council for the Arts, member.
