Okay, it's a queer pirate fantasy. It's Our Flag Means Death. It's also absolutely hilarious. You root for all the characters, even as they're doing the most absurd insane things. It's ridiculous. It's kind. It's a ROMP.

I loved this book. Usually I get annoyed at books that don’t move fast enough but I found myself not wanting it to end. Honestly the only good ending would be to go through to the end of their lives. The end of the dynasty. I actually said “oh…that’s it” when I finished it. Not out of disappointment for where it went, just that it ended.

Very good, slow burn, cute book. It does end kind of abruptly but not like in a bad way.
