This was a great book! I will have this book in my classroom. It is a book where the students are learning about matter through hands on activities. I personally think this is a great way for the students to learn about science because they are able to discover things for themselves instead of hearing the teacher talk about it. Mr. Whiskers goes over to each group of students to ask them higher order thinking questions about what they are learning from the materials they are working with.

The book provides information on where to get the materials that Mr. Whiskers used in his classroom so teachers or guardians can have the material ordered to use with their kids. The stuff the students were doing in Mr. Whiskers class could be done in the same way in any classroom. It provides a good learning tool for the students and they have a lot of fun working with the materials.… (plus d'informations)

This book is about Matter and science experiments. Students use water droppers, work in groups, as well as other activities. One important aspect of this book is science safety, which is very important in the classroom. I love this book because it shows how much science can be and even addresses the safety protocol necessary.
