Extremely well-conceived & -written scenario mixing real history [present day at time of writing] with plausible projections to create excellent modern fiction. Unfortunately, my copy was never returned when I loaned it out. [sigh] But that *does* say something for the quality of the read! ;)

This book is a 680 page narrative of the far right pro gun, pro little government viewpoint. I was entertained by the book, but do not agree with it's political stance. I think it might even be useful for bad actors in some ways unfortunately. I also think the author wrote it for like minded people to learn from.

I lost sleep and missed work to read this book. I've bought and given away a dozen copies.

If your not into guns or government realism don't read this book. It does drag a bit but is interesting enough and well written. It's definately the kind of book that leads you towards asking questions.
