The style is that of short press releases with a concluding paragraph of editorial. Like much 70s futurology, it overestimated medical advances, e.g., how much would be cured by the 80s, while totally missing out on advances in computing and digital technology. Probably not worth the effort of reading unless you're really into retro futurism.
