Lawrence Rogers

Any collection of short stories is going to be somewhat hit and miss, and that's how it is here.

Takeda Rintaro's "The Image", Mishima Yukio's "Fountains in the Rain", Hayashi Fumiko's "The Old Part of Town", and Ikeda Michiko's "An Unclaimed Body" were my favourites out of the eighteen.

The rest were decent, but not memorable, or were ones I simply didn't enjoy.
