The New England Ghost Files

You wake up in the middle of the night to hear footsteps. You thought you were home alone didn't you? Well what if after living in that house for years, you just find out that there has been a presence watching you that entire time. Every move made, seen by a figure you didn't even know existed till now. Sounds nice right? well, thats only the beginning. Now for the icing on the cake, that presence isn't even alive. That’s right, you are being observed by the dead. So what are you going to do? Help the stranded souls move on? Or you could just up and leave. Then again, you could always just accept them. But whether you like them or not, they are all around you, and some are here to stay.
In this book, many ghost stories are told. Every single one of them true. This book shows different people’s reactions to their own personal experiences to noticing ghosts. Some people were still a bit sceptical and others believed it with all their hearts. Some were scared at first and then accepted their presence then some were so concerned they just left. Either way, every person has their own way with coping with ghosts. Some people just can’t get past the fact that they are in touch with the dead. Some spirits are filled with sorrow, grief, or anger. However, some maybe just don’t want to accept their death. They don’t want to face the reality that they are separated from their loved ones and are now wandering around baring loneliness and confusion. With every ghost, there comes a tragic death whether it be suicide, death by gunshot or even drowning.
In my opinion, this book was great. 10/10 stars. I loved it. The Author (Charles Turek Robinson) did an amazing job with backing up the story with facts and evidence such as dates, locations and other witnesses. The illustrator was amazing as well (B. Turek Robinson) I absolutely loved the dark, twisted sketches. Also, due to the fact that ghosts really interest me, this really caught my attention. I didn't want to put this book down it was incredibly fascinating. I love ghosts stories and because it was non fiction it was even better. I literally have no complaints.

In The New England Ghost Files, by Charles Turek Robinson, you will learn about the haunting stories and encounters heard throughout New England. These encounters are with ghosts, phantoms, and multiple figures of past presences. Some include a former priest, a highway pest, and an elderly woman. They are frighteningly realistic and they feel as if they could happen to you. There are many scary stories in this book, so it is not for people who are scared of ghosts.
This book was pretty good and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror and real life ghost stories. It is for people of all ages and there is no overall reading level for this book, as it's for people who enjoy this kind of non-fiction. Overall, I was intrigued and happy to read this book and I rate it an eight out of ten.… (plus d'informations)

The New England Ghost Files by: Charles Turek Robinson is a collection of true stories of people and their encounters with paranormal “things”. The stories are anywhere from a page to 8 pages long. One story told the encounters of locals and the ghost of a young Indian woman. She is haunting a rock in the middle of a pond. She had drowned there when some boys sacred her and she jumped off the rock and drowned in a frantic swim for the opposite shore.
I definitely liked the book although it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I liked it because it didn't try to over exaggerate anything or make it sound more interesting, it just told the story the way it happened. although they weren't scary they sure were interesting. I recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal phenomena, or true stories.
I would rate this book a 4 on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best.
