Cynhyrchodd Selyf Roberts gyfieithiad cryno a braidd yn ffurfiol o Alice's adventures in Wonderland fel Anturiaethau Alys yng Ngwlad Hud ym 1953 (Gwasg Gee, 68 tt.). Bron i ddeng mlynedd ar hugain yn ddiweddarach ym 1982 yn teimlo bod angen i Anturiaethau Alys yng Ngwlad Hud gael ei ddisodli gan gyfieithiad ffres llawn mewn arddull ychydig yn fwy naturiol (Gwasg Gomer, 115 tt.). Ad-argraffwyd gyfieithiad 1982 gan Evertype yn 2010 (ix, 123 tt.), wedi'i deipio yn ffres ac yn cynnwys darluniau John Tenniel. Wrth baratoi'r golygiad hwn, gwnaed mân newidiadau i sillafu a chystrawen i gydymffurfio ag arfer presennol Cymraeg.
