I love the story only reason I gave it 4 stars is because in one of the chapters I was confused because there was an editing error were Sara was being written as
Samantha, other than that I am loving this series.

I got this free as an e-book a while ago and finally got around to reading it. This is the first in a series, and I will definitely have to get the rest of them (currently there are 7 I believe). This is set in kind of medieval times, there's royalty and horse-drawn carriages and carts, swords and a rebellion. I was hooked from the beginning and got through this relatively quickly considering I only read it while I'm eating breakfast (I'm a multi-book at one time person lol). Ceres is pretty well developed, and you want her to succeed against all adversity (of which there is plenty). You hate all the characters you're supposed to hate, and cheer for the ones you're supposed to support. The entire thing was well-written and moved quickly. I can hardly wait to see what happens next. *My reviews are generally not specific, as to not give away any spoilers.*

Morgan Rice has a great ability to build worlds and characters that people can relate to and sympathize with.

All in all, just a great book. If you like strong female characters, sword fighting, historical fantasy, or epic tales, then I'd say definitely read this.

This was a good follow up to the series starter. It took me a while to read it because I was focused on my "real" books and I have this in ebook. No matter how long I sat it down though, I had no problem catching right back up with the story lines. There were a lot of different points of view in this one, so if you have a hard time with that or don't like multiple voices, then you probably shouldn't read this.

All in all, a good addition to the series. Lots of things are happening, although nothing is really earth shattering. If you like medieval epic fantasy, you like sword fighting and deception then this series is up your alley.… (plus d'informations)

This is the third book in the Of Crowns and Glory saga. I read this as an ebook while I was walking on the treadmill at the gym. It went by so fast!! Before I had any idea, I was done with this one. The version I read actually includes #3 and #4, so I had no clue that I was so close to the end of this book. There was so much going on, all kinds of action and surprises. Ceres is trying to get back to Delos, the Rebellion is trying to make some kind of progress, and Thanos has to move on with his life while thinking that Ceres was dead. The different points of view were spaced well, and wasn't confusing at all, which can happen sometimes in books with multiple characters narrating. The storyline moved forward all the time, there were no stagnating lulls in the plot and story. It was paced well and wasn't overwhelming at all. I don't want to give any spoilers, so just know that there may be points where you say "NO!" or "what the..." but it's all for the best and will feed the story well.

All in all, this is a great addition to the ongoing saga of Ceres and Thanos. If you read the first two because you found them for free somewhere (like me!) and aren't sure about purchasing the next books, DO IT! These stories are so well told. There is wonderful description and great world building. If you enjoy a strong female protagonist, action and drama, and a bit of supernatural suspense, then you will love this series. Go for it!
