This book is based on the notion of a growth mindset, in which all students can achieve at a higher level with effort and persistence -- especially if they persist in the fact of failures & setbacks.

The book explains to multiple audiences (primarily teachers, but also parents and school staff) how to use this principle. The "resources" in the title refers to the great number of worksheets, lessons, outlines, plans, charts, and other materials in the book. These are well-designed for reproducing, and the back of the book even has lists of the resources most-suited to various audiences.

Because a growth mindset is accessible to any student, this book should similarly be useful for any teacher.

A timely resource given our current state of uncertainty regarding education. I found the information included in the book relevant and will seek to use as much of the strategies as possible come September. We need a growth mindset more than ever!

I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of "growth mindset". In my estimation kids are naturally in a growth mindset and don't need adults to try create a product in order to instill such.

That said, this book is not completely without merit. There are several exercises that with some personalization could be very effective. The book is well laid out and a relatively easy read. If you are looking for some inspiration, you may find it here.

In these times of uncertainty, now more than ever is this work by Ricci needed now more than ever. This work if filled from cover to cover with resources for the educator who teaches from elementary to high school and needs to help their students continue to grow while being apart form the normal classroom setting. This work brought back from 2015 is more valuable today than it has ever been. The main reason is that it can be used with students, administrators, classroom teachers, and parents, to help in creating a growth mindset for all concerned. In today's environment of uncertainty and surely forthcoming budget cuts, more virtual classroom settings and the possibility of more shelter in place orders coming with the second wave of the virus, educators need to have a ready made source for more resources, this READY-To-Use work is what is needed. Ricci, understood that these ready made forms and questionnaires would give educators more power to grow their students. If for no other reason to purchase this work ,than for the long lists found in Resources 48 & 49, which deal with the Growth Mindset from Picture Books to Extended Texts, dealing with the growth question of Do Not Give Up, Do Not Fail. Again now more than ever with no face to face in many cases and having parents as substitute teachers, this work will come to the aid of educators in helping their students to Succeed in these trying times.… (plus d'informations)
