There are a lot of books in this genre and they sometime blend together. I thought that this one had some moments where I really appreciated that the author did not give the heroine unrealistic reactions to supernatural things. Not to give things away but there is a scene in the woods that does not go as planned but the way that the character handled it was perfect, in that it made a fantastical situation seem more realistic. This was a very quick read for me and the story kept my interest throughout. The addressing of past traumas and gender identity I thought fit the characters well and gave them some depth, didn't seem like a forced element. I would definitely recommend if this is your genre and I look forward to hearing more from the author in the future.… (plus d'informations)
